- Browse to any LinkedIn job posting
- Click the extension icon to open the sidebar

📋 Installation
Method 1: Direct Download
Download the latest release from the Releases page
Unzip the downloaded file
Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions/
Enable "Developer mode" (top right toggle)
Click "Load unpacked" and select the unzipped folder
Method 2: Clone Repository
- Clone or download this repository
- Unzip the downloaded file (if applicable)
- Open Chrome and go to
chrome://extensions/
- Enable "Developer mode" (top right toggle)
- Click "Load unpacked" and select the project folder
Clone Repository

cd LinkedIn-Job-Extractor
Then follow steps 3-5 from Method 1.
🖥️ Usage
Basic Workflow
- Navigate to a LinkedIn job posting page
- Click the LinkedIn Job Extractor icon in your browser toolbar
- Click "Extract Job Information" in the sidebar
- Review and edit the extracted information if needed
- Use "Copy" buttons to copy individual fields or all information
- Paste the information into your cover letter generator or resume

- LinkedIn job search results (individual job cards)
⚠️ System Requirements
Currently supported:
- Windows 10/11
- Chrome Browser 116+
- Manifest V3 compatible
Not currently supported:
- macOS (support planned for future releases)
- Linux (support planned for future releases)
- Other browsers (Firefox, Safari, Edge)
⚖️ Legal & Compliance
This is NOT a scraper or crawler. This extension:
- Only processes information from pages you actively visit
- Requires manual user interaction for each extraction
- Respects LinkedIn's rate limiting and terms of service
- Is designed for personal job search use only
- Does not perform bulk or automated data collection
