Zume Editor is a native desktop editor written in C++ for Windows, macOS and Linux. It opens files of 10 GB and more through a memory-mapped engine, so a huge log is searchable and editable without loading it into memory.
Multi-caret and column editing sit next to a hex view, a built-in Git client, a terminal with SSH and SFTP, database browsers and a diff tool. There is also a CLI, an MCP server and a Lua scripting API for extending it.
